Director of Agriculture appoints 1 county commissioner or representative of a statewide organization that represents county commissioners, 1 township trustee or a representative of a statewide organization that represents township trustees, 1 representative of an Ohio University, 1 representative of a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of farmland, 1 representative each of development, environmental, soil and water conservation, and planning interests, and 1 farmer from each of the Ohio's four quadrants. Executive Director of the Office of Farmland Preservation in the Department of Agriculture, or the other employee of the Department designated by the Director of Agriculture, is a nonvoting member.
