Legislative Application

Instructions:

To be eligible for one of the 2022 legislative fellowship positions, you must complete at least a bachelor's degree program by December 2021. The following materials are required: (1) résumé; (2) unofficial transcript(s) from each college or university attended (for more than one quarter or semester); (3) a two- to four-page typewritten personal statement; and (4) a reference sheet with the names and email addresses of two individuals to submit letters of recommendation on your behalf. LSC will contact references via email with instructions on how to upload letters of recommendation. The application deadline for the legislative fellowship positions is June 21, 2021. Letters of recommendation are due by June 28.

Media Production Fellow­ship

Media Production Application

Instructions:

To be eligible for one of the two 2022 media production fellowship positions, you must complete at least a bachelor's degree program with a media production-related major or minor by December 2021. The following materials are required: (1) résumé; (2) unofficial transcript(s) from each college or university attended (for more than one quarter or semester); (3) a two- to four-page typewritten personal statement; (4) a 5 minute (maximum) demo reel publicly accessible via web link, with your name and duties related to the project(s) clearly indicated; and (5) a reference sheet with the names and email addresses of two individuals to submit letters of recommendation on your behalf. The application deadline for the media production fellowship positions is May 31, 2021.

The program is limited to majors or minors in Mass Media Communication, Journalism (Broadcast or Video & Film), Communications/Communications Arts (Electronic Media, Telecommunications, and Radio/Television), or Media Production. A bachelor's degree in another area of study may be acceptable if the applicant has acquired the requisite video production skills. All applicants must have some production experience in one or more of the following: videography, editing, directing, audio, and lighting.
