Qualifications
Dean of the College of Medicine of the Ohio State University appoints not less than 10 and not more than 12 members, including all of the following: a survivor of brain injury, a relative of a survivor of brain injury, a licensed physician recommended by the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, a licensed physician recommended by the Ohio State Medical Association, one other health care professional, a rehabilitation professional, an individual who represents the Brain Injury Association of Ohio, and not less than 3 nor more than 5 individuals to represent the public. The Directors of Health, Aging, Mental Health and Drug Addiction Services, Developmental Disabilities, Medicaid, and Public Safety; the Administrator of Workers' Compensation; the Superintendent of Public Instruction; and the Executive Director of the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities Agency, or their designees, are ex officio members.
