4 appointed by Governor: 1 representative from each: American Legion, VFW, DAV, and AMVETS; 1 Representative appointed by House Speaker; 1 Senator appointed by the Senate President; Director of Veterans' Services or Director's designee; and Chancellor of Board of Regents or Chancellor's designee. Governor must make appointments from among 3 nominees submitted by each organization, unless organization fails to submit the nominees, in which case Governor may appoint any veteran.
