3 members of the Senate, as follows: 1 who is the chairperson of the Senate committee dealing primarily with highway matters, 1 who is appointed by the Senate President, and 1 who is appointed by the Senate Minority Leader. 3 members of the House of Representatives, as follows: 1 who is the chairperson of the House committee dealing primarily with highway matters, 1 who is appointed by the House Speaker, and 1 who is appointed by the House Minority Leader. No more than 2 of the 3 members from each house may be of the same political party. Appointees of the House Speaker and House Minority Leader, and of the Senate President and Senate Minority Leader, must represent districts located in different parts of the state and must represent a district in which is located or through which passes a portion of a turnpike project that is part of the Ohio Turnpike System or a district that is located in the vicinity of such a project. |
